NEET paper leak case: First fast-track court hearing adjourned as CBI counsel skips proceedings

The NEET paper leak case's first hearing before a newly designated fast-track court was adjourned after no CBI counsel appeared.
Special Judge Anu Grover Baliga observed the absence of prosecution and adjourned the hearing to August 3.
The fast-track court was designated under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, following PM Modi's announcement.
Bail applications of accused Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal are pending; the court also requested assignment of a public prosecutor.
Previously, all 13 accused were in judicial custody until August 6, and the bail plea of Dr. Manoj Bhagwanrao Shirure was rejected.
