HC designates 2 special courts to fast-track paper leak trials

Bombay High Court designated two special courts in Nagpur and Aurangabad to fast-track trials in examination paper leak cases.
The courts will handle cases under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023.
Judge SV Pawar will preside over the Aurangabad court, and Judge Gulshan Kolte will preside over the Nagpur court.
Trials under the 2024 Act must be completed within three months.
The move follows a Centre request and PM Narendra Modi's announcement for swift punishment in paper leak cases.
