NEET UG leak case: Delhi court asks CBI to appoint public prosecutor
Delhi's Rouse Avenue Court directed the director of prosecution to appoint a public prosecutor for the CBI in the NEET UG 2026 paper leak case.
The direction was issued by special judge Anu Grover Baliga after no CBI representative appeared during the hearing.
The court adjourned bail pleas of accused Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal to August 3.
The fast track court, constituted on July 23 under the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Act, 2024, is exclusively trying offences under that Act.
The CBI alleged Dinesh Biwal and Vikas Biwal are among 13 accused arrested in connection with the NEET UG question paper leak, with paper allegedly procured from Yash Yadav for Rs 10 lakh.
