Commonwealth Games 2026: Rishikanta Singh wins India's first silver

Chanambam Rishikanta Singh won silver in the men's 60kg weightlifting at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

He lifted a total of 264kg, setting a new Games record in the snatch with 121kg.

This is India's first silver medal at the 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Malaysia's Mohamad Aniq Kasdan won gold with a total lift of 273kg.
