Nancy Guthrie update: Distressing details out as ‘rare’ hair DNA testing result revealed

DNA analysis of hair found at Nancy Guthrie's home did not yield any suspects, according to Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos.

The FBI's Phoenix office confirmed that all hair had been resolved and it does not point to a suspect.

Sheriff Nanos noted that discovering DNA on hair is 'extremely rare' and that hair does not produce DNA like touch DNA or bodily fluids.

A mixed DNA sample from Guthrie's residence contains genetic material from up to four individuals, with multiple labs including the FBI lab in Quantico, Virginia working on identification.
