Bengaluru restaurant owners threaten a Swiggy boycott from August 15 over high commissions, payment delays, and unauthorised promotional offers.

The Bruhat Bengaluru Hotels Association (BBHA) warns it will boycott or seek shutdown of Swiggy if policies are not revised.

Hotel owners allege Swiggy deducts 25–30% commission, charges unnecessary advertising fees, and delays payments.

Owners claim Swiggy runs 'Buy 1 Get 1 Free' offers without consent, reimbursing only one plate and forcing restaurants to cover the second.

Cancelled orders are not returned to hotels but consumed by delivery partners, leaving restaurants unpaid for food and revenue lost.
