Junaid says CJP leadership supports him amid rift rumours

Mohammad Junaid, a Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) volunteer, released a video urging supporters not to heed 'fake rumours' and stating that the CJP leadership was with him.

CJP spokesperson Ratna Singh said Junaid was receiving all legal assistance and had joined a get-together of volunteers after the protest ended.

Junaid earlier alleged that police detained his family members in Ghaziabad and harassed relatives in Meerut due to his role in the agitation.

The CJP dismissed speculation of a rift, stating that Junaid is safe and treated with respect, and that false news about him was being spread.

The clarification came after online posts claimed Junaid was snubbed from a party celebrating Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation and that CJP leader Abhijeet Dipke wouldn't answer his calls.
