Rohit Sharma wrote a tribute on X praising Ajinkya Rahane's commitment and professionalism after Rahane retired from international cricket on Thursday.
Rahane was the stand-in captain for three games as India stunned hosts Australia in a Test series in 2020-21, guiding India to a 2-1 win.
Rahane played 85 Tests, 90 ODIs, and 20 T20Is for India, scoring more than 8,000 international runs with 15 centuries.
