Ajinkya Rahane retired from international cricket with 5,077 runs in 85 Tests.

Eight of his 12 Test hundreds came in overseas conditions, with a better away average (39.92) than home (35.74).

Rahane scored two centuries at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, averaging 73.80 there, the best among Indian batters at the venue.

His 147 in 2014 at the MCG featured pull shots against Mitchell Johnson at his peak.

Rahane's last Test was in 2023, and he was a key contributor in tough overseas conditions.
