Wangchuk's mud house uses passive solar technology with a 'black wall' containing water bottles that absorb heat from the winter sun and release it indoors at night.

The home features low seating aligned with Ladakhi tradition, mud walls that keep the house cool in summer, and a wooden roof with modern interiors.
