Sonam Wangchuk discharged, heads to Rajghat before returning home

Activist Sonam Wangchuk was discharged from Medanta Hospital in Gurugram on Monday after six days of admission.
Wangchuk will visit Rajghat to pay homage to Mahatma Gandhi before returning to Ladakh.
He was admitted on 21 July following the 'Sansad Chalo' march and had earlier been at Safdarjung Hospital.
Wangchuk led a 26-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar demanding Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the NEET paper leak.
He ended his hunger strike on 24 July, a day before Pradhan's resignation.
