Actor Sam Neill dies at 78

Sam Neill, known for playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park, died at 78.

His death was sudden and unexpected, unrelated to his previous battle with angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.

Neill was married to Japanese makeup artist Noriko Watanabe from 1989 until their separation in 2017.

Before marriage, he was in a long-term relationship with New Zealand actress Lisa Harrow, with whom he had a son.

He is survived by four children, including Andrew, Tim, Elena, and another from his relationship with Lisa Harrow.
