Mumbais Water Stock Remains Stable At Nearly 50%; 7 Lakes Now Hold 49.73% Live Storage

Mumbai's seven reservoirs held 49.73% live storage capacity on July 15, down slightly from 49.92% the previous day.
Total water stock was 7,19,716 million litres as of 6 am on July 15.
Vihar Lake was full at 100% capacity and overflowing since July 7; Tulsi Lake was at 98.43% and overflowed since July 7.
Other lakes: Middle Vaitarna at 44.24%, Modak Sagar at 77.84%, Upper Vaitarna at 28.76%, Tansa at 44.16%, and Bhatsa at 44.58%.
Negligible rainfall in catchment areas over 24 hours, with only Tulsi receiving 5 mm.
