A cargo ship was struck by an unknown projectile 20 nautical miles northeast of Al Khasab, Oman, in the Strait of Hormuz, as reported by the UKMTO.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said negotiations with Oman over managing the Strait of Hormuz were in final stages.
