Mumbai model who blocked police van full of protesters files cyberbullying complaint
Rhiya Ahir, the model who blocked a police van carrying detained protesters at Shivaji Park on July 22, has filed a cyberbullying complaint with Maharashtra Police's cyber cell.
Ahir submitted an online complaint on Saturday and will meet a senior cyber cell officer on Monday to seek an FIR.
She alleges sustained online harassment, bullying, slut-shaming, and false accusations of selling pornographic content via her Instagram account @rhiyaahir.
Some social media creators have posted videos with blurred bikini photos, falsely claiming she sells exclusive content; Ahir says her bank account is not linked to subscriptions and she earned nothing from such content.
Ahir wants to stop the abuse before it escalates, fearing morphed images and harm to her parents.
