Mumbai model calls police respectful after protest

Mumbai model Rhiya Ahir, who blocked a police van during student protests, said the officers in the van were respectful towards her.

Ahir said she had not slept for two nights thinking about students continuing to participate in the movement.

She urged the government to withdraw FIRs filed against student protesters, saying people are struggling.

Ahir reacted to PM Narendra Modi's response to the protests, saying demands being heard is beautiful but implementation is key.

She cited the alleged mastermind of the 2024 leaks being released on bail and cleared of all allegations as a concern.
