Rhiya Yadav Ahir, a 27-year-old Mumbai model, filed a complaint with the Maharashtra Cyber Cell alleging online harassment, bullying and defamation after her protest video went viral.
She sought registration of an FIR against those targeting her on social media, citing sustained abuse and slut-shaming since the July 22 protest at Shivaji Park.
Ahir alleged that social media creators falsely portrayed her as an adult content creator and claimed she earned from exclusive subscriptions, which she denied.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone X) Datta Nalawade confirmed the complaint is under examination and no FIR has been registered yet.
