No alliance with any party, says Prashant Kishor after Bankipur bypoll win

Prashant Kishor ruled out joining any political alliance after winning the Bankipur assembly bypoll, saying his alliance is with the people of Bihar.

Kishor defeated BJP's Neeraj Kumar by over 19,000 votes, marking Jan Suraaj Party's maiden presence in the Bihar assembly.

Kishor claimed his victory was backed by disgruntled supporters from BJP, Congress, and RJD, and thanked those who helped despite not being in the party.

The bypoll followed the resignation of five-term MLA Nitin Nabin, who became BJP's national president and got elected to Rajya Sabha.

Kishor called the BJP's loss a wake-up call for PM Narendra Modi, urging him to consider replacing CM Samrat Choudhary with a decent person.
