Delhi Lakshmi Yojana online portal launched
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta launched the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana online registration portal on August 1, 2026.
The scheme provides ₹2,500 per month to eligible women, with a budget of ₹5,100 crore, targeting around 17 lakh women over three years.
Applicants can register at www.dly.delhi.gov.in to submit forms, upload documents, and link a CBDC wallet or bank account.
Eligibility: women aged 21–60 with family income up to ₹2.5 lakh per annum; excluded are taxpayers, government employees, those with more than three children, families with high electricity use or four-wheelers, and others.
The scheme, originally Mahila Samriddhi Yojana, was renamed to reflect broader vision of women's dignity and empowerment.
