Shreyas Iyer leads India to 7-wicket win over Zimbabwe
Shreyas Iyer secured his first T20I captaincy win as India beat Zimbabwe by seven wickets in Harare.
India had lost a T20I series to Ireland 2-0 and a five-match series to England 4-1 under Iyer's captaincy.
Ex-cricketer Sadagopan Ramesh said the win was a relief, comparing it to "leftover food tasting like a wedding meal" after a long losing streak.
Ramesh praised interim head coach VVS Laxman for consistently getting positive results when in charge of India.
Teenager Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored a historic half-century in 18 balls, becoming the youngest to achieve that milestone in international cricket.
