India will not rush Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's development as an all-rounder, prioritizing his batting for now.

Selection committee chairman Sunil Joshi said Sooryavanshi will remain a specialist batter, citing his impressive record in Harare.

The team management has no immediate plans to use Sooryavanshi as a bowling option, despite his experience at Under-19 level.

Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma are being developed as part-time bowling options, with Abhishek's improvement praised by Joshi.
