Srikkanth criticizes Gambhir for dropping Sooryavanshi after three failures

Krishnamachari Srikkanth slammed India head coach Gautam Gambhir for dropping Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after three failures in the T20I series against England.

Srikkanth said the move 'crushed his confidence' and questioned how Gambhir could 'foolishly drop him'.

Sooryavanshi responded in India's first T20I against Zimbabwe in Harare, scoring a half-century off 18 balls (50 off 19) with four fours and four sixes.

After the England series, Sooryavanshi went straight to the Rajasthan Royals camp to work on his batting against the short ball instead of going home.
