'That’s not something': Bhuvneshwar Kumar on India return

Bhuvneshwar Kumar, 36, last played for India in 2022 and says he no longer chases an India return, playing for the love of the game.

Kumar credits his family for helping him accept the transition and says they never discuss his India comeback at home.

He represented India in 21 Tests, 121 ODIs, and 87 T20Is, and was part of RCB's IPL 2026-winning team.

Kumar praised the IPL, Virat Kohli, and Ravi Shastri for strengthening India's fast-bowling culture, and recalled Praveen Kumar's influence.

He plans to stay disciplined and play enough cricket, including domestic cricket and the UP T20 League, to remain in touch and refreshed.
