Delhi Lakshmi Yojana portal launched, 33.7K sign up

Chief minister Rekha Gupta launched the Delhi Lakshmi Yojana registration portal at www.dly.delhi.gov.in on August 1.
The portal recorded 33,730 registrations within 12 hours, with 1,940 completed applications.
Eligible women receive ₹2,500 per month; applicants need an MP or MLA recommendation and must be Delhi residents for 10 years.
The portal handles applications, verification, approvals, and fund transfers, and is integrated with Aadhaar, PFMS, and CBDC wallets.
Applications undergo a four-level verification process ending with approval by a district-level committee headed by the district magistrate.
