Amit Shah, Ajit Doval urge youth to put nation first

Union Home Minister Amit Shah and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval urged youth to prioritize nation-building, speaking at an event in Pune.

Shah appealed to young people to read the Gita through Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak's perspective, claiming it would help them avoid mistakes in life.

Doval called on youth to dedicate themselves to national service and sacrifice personal interests when required.

The remarks followed protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), during which some demonstrators allegedly abused PM Modi; Modi had forgiven the students.

Doval was conferred the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 for his contribution to national security; he praised the leadership of Modi and Shah.
