On Saturday, he distributed rations and essential supplies to displaced people at Sivasagar railway station and served food through langar.
Hooda has been working with Global Sikhs for years; the team has been providing food daily for the last seven days.
He plans to distribute kits containing everyday amenities like food, mattresses, and tarps, and the team is seeking out those who haven't received help.
The Assam floods have claimed 82 lives, according to the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA), and have displaced millions.
