Kolkata Weather LATEST Update: Heavy Rain Alert for North Bengal, Humid Conditions to Continue in South

Heavy to very heavy rainfall is expected in North Bengal districts Jalpaiguri and Alipurduar, with moderate to heavy showers in Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Cooch Behar.

Continuous rainfall has raised landslide risk in hill districts and may increase water levels in Teesta, Torsa, and Jaldhaka rivers.

Kolkata and South Bengal will remain cloudy and humid, with light to moderate rain and maximum temperatures between 30°C and 31°C.

High humidity levels of 80 to 85 percent will continue in Kolkata, making conditions uncomfortable.

Thunderstorm alerts have been issued for Kolkata, Howrah, South 24 Parganas, Hooghly, and Purba Bardhaman, with gusty winds of 30 to 40 kmph.
