Shah, Doval urge youth to put nation first

Union home minister Amit Shah and National Security Adviser Ajit Doval urged youth to dedicate themselves to nation-building at the Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026 ceremony in Pune.
Doval said India is still on its journey to becoming a fully developed nation and called on young people to commit to national service, sacrificing personal interests when required.
Doval praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, saying they have the vision to make India strong and developed.
Shah appealed to young people to read the Gita from Lokmanya Bal Gangadhar Tilak's perspective, guaranteeing it would prevent mistakes in life.
The remarks came amid political fallout from student protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP), during which some demonstrators allegedly abused Modi; Modi said he had forgiven them.
