Union Home Minister Amit Shah urged youth to read Shrimad Bhagavad Gita Rahasya, saying it would ensure they never make mistakes in life.

Speaking at the Tilak National Award ceremony in Pune, Shah said Lokmanya Tilak's interpretation explained how ordinary citizens could apply Gita principles in daily life.

Shah said Tilak's writings are eternal and will continue to guide the nation, and described him as a key architect of India's freedom movement.

Shah conferred the 'Lokmanya Tilak National Award 2026' on National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, drawing parallels between Tilak's nationalist vision and Doval's security framework.
