West Bengal Police's STF arrested Arpita Sarkar from Jharkhand's Sahibganj district for allegedly helping Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Mohammad Hamim Mondal run a honey trap network.
Sarkar is accused of collecting sensitive personal information about political leaders in West Bengal, using WhatsApp contact with Mondal, with chats recovered.
Mondal was arrested on Thursday from Bardhaman town, suspected to be part of an ISI-backed Jaish-e-Mohammed network targeting VIPs, including BJP leaders.
The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the network and whether the information was intended for terror attacks or other anti-national activities.

West Bengal STF arrested Jaish-e-Mohammed operative Hamim Mondal from Purba Bardhaman district on Friday.
Mondal allegedly planned to target Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari and carry out sabotage at the students' protest at Delhi's Jantar Mantar by wearing a police uniform.
According to STF IG Gaurav Sharma, Mondal was in contact with Pakistan-based handlers through encrypted messaging platforms WhatsApp and Telegram, after initially connecting on Instagram.
Handlers, identified by aliases 'Rana', 'Uzair', 'Abid Jatt 333' and 'Hamad', are suspected to be linked to the Pakistan-based Shahzad Bhatti gang, involved in radicalisation and narco-terror activities.
