Background
Pakistan ordered 236 SH-15 guns from China in 2019, with deliveries starting in 2022 and a second batch in 2023. The SH-15 is Pakistan's first 52-calibre artillery gun, offering greater range and accuracy than older systems. India is also modernising its artillery with systems like M777, K-9 Vajra, Dhanush, and ATAGS.
