India's Jadumani Singh outclasses Pakistan boxer 5-0 at CWG 2026, closes in on maiden Commonwealth Games medal

Jadumani Singh Mandengbam defeated Pakistan's Sumama Rehman 5-0 in the men's 55kg Round of 16 at the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow.

The Indian boxer now advances to the quarterfinals, one win away from securing at least a bronze medal.

All five judges scored in Jadumani's favor: three scored 30-27, two scored 29-28.

Jadumani had previously beaten Scotland's Aaron Cullen 5-0 in the Round of 32, making his record 10-0 across judges in Glasgow.

The victory came on July 26, Kargil Vijay Diwas, and Jadumani dedicated the result to Indian soldiers.
