Dozens of migrants jump from truck near Ceuta border

Roughly 60,000 migrants entered Ceuta from Morocco on Thursday and Friday, according to Spanish officials.

At least 57 migrants died attempting to cross, either from drowning or stampedes.

A Spanish Supreme Court ruling on July 8, which changed return procedures for migrants arriving by sea, may have contributed to the influx.

Over 48,000 of the migrants have returned to Morocco, per the Spanish interior ministry.
