Spain's PM blames trafficking gangs as 60,000 migrants enter Ceuta from Morocco, 41 dead

Around 60,000 migrants crossed from Morocco into Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta within 24 hours, equivalent to nearly 70% of Ceuta's population.

At least 41 migrants died during attempts to reach European territory.

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez described the incident as "a violation of Spain's territorial integrity" and blamed human smuggling networks for exploiting migrants.
