CSK part ways with Fleming; Badani in fray to join set-up

Chennai Super Kings have ended Stephen Fleming's stint as head coach after two disappointing IPL seasons.

Hemang Badani, head coach of Delhi Capitals for the last two seasons, is a contender to join the CSK coaching set-up.

CSK's top brass in Dallas is reviewing cricket operations, including trades, coaching staff, and captaincy ahead of IPL 2027.

Fleming was CSK head coach since 2009, leading the team to six IPL titles and reaching 11 finals overall.

CSK finished 10th and eighth in the 2025 and 2026 IPL seasons after narrowly missing playoffs in 2024.
