Hemang Badani likely to be CSK head coach
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) parted ways with head coach Stephen Fleming on July 13, 2026, ending an 18-year association.
Former India cricketer Hemang Badani, currently head coach of Delhi Capitals (DC), is reportedly in line to replace Fleming as CSK head coach ahead of IPL 2027.
Fleming led CSK to five IPL titles, with the last in 2023; the team failed to qualify for playoffs since then.
Fleming also stepped down as head coach of Joburg Super Kings (SA20) and Texas Super Kings (Major League Cricket).
CSK managing director KS Viswanathan praised Fleming for building a culture of consistency and putting the team first.
