‘I thought I would lose my arm,’ says Bihar resident allegedly injured by pellets

Prashant, a 25-year-old Bihar resident, suffered multiple pellet injuries on July 20, 2026 during clashes over the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) march towards Parliament.
Prashant was injured near the Gandhi Charkha installation in Palika Bazar after police used tear gas and fired pellets to disperse protesters.
His discharge paper from Lady Hardinge Hospital reads: 'Multiple pellet injuries to the right upper limb, chest and inguinal region.'
Prashant initially thought he would lose his arm because he could not feel it for hours after being hit.
