Lake Travis water level update: How close to full is the reservoir as LCRA prepares Mansfield floodgates opening

Lake Travis is 94.8% full as of Friday, 4:00 pm CDT, per Water Data For Texas.

LCRA plans to open two floodgates at Mansfield Dam on Saturday, July 18, 2026, starting at 6 AM and 1 PM CDT.

Travis County issued a flood alert for low-lying areas from 7:00 pm CDT Friday to late afternoon Saturday.

Lake Travis was at 680.18 feet MSL as of 7:00 pm CDT, less than three feet below full pool of 681 feet MSL.
