Michigan police update timeline in Grand Haven family deaths

Police believe Amanda Karolkiewicz, 39, died before her six children in the Michigan murder-suicide, though the timeline is still unconfirmed.

All eight family members, including Amanda and her children Keegan, Bennett, Smith, Ella, Caroline, and Theodore, died from gunshot wounds to the head, according to death certificates.

Kristopher Karolkiewicz, 47, is believed to have died by suicide after shooting his family and setting their Grand Haven home on fire, killing three dogs and one cat.
