Michigan murder-suicide: Disturbing details emerge about dogs and cat in Grand Haven Township

Kristopher Karolkiewicz, 47, fatally shot his wife Amanda and six children in their Grand Haven Township home before setting the house on fire and killing himself.

At least three dogs and a cat died from smoke inhalation or flames in the fire, with officials saying more pets may have died.

The bodies were found in different bedrooms, and autopsies confirmed the family members were murdered while Kristopher died by suicide, attributed to a handgun.

A 911 call reported smoke coming from the home, and investigators believe Kristopher deliberately started multiple fires after the murders.

The motive remains unknown, but Reddit posts allegedly by Amanda described marital issues, including infidelity.
