Ryan Gosling cast as Ghost Rider in MCU

Ryan Gosling has been officially cast as Ghost Rider in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The role is part of a new standalone film directed by Shawn Levy, set for release in 2028.

Gosling takes over the mantle from Nicolas Cage, who played Ghost Rider in the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel.

Kevin Feige confirmed the casting at San Diego Comic-Con, with Gosling expressing he had long wanted to play the character.

Shawn Levy previously worked with Gosling on the film 'Starfighter' and expressed enthusiasm for the project.
