Jana Nayagan Box Office Collection Day 1: Vijay's Final Film Registers Powerful Rs 78.27 Crore Worldwide Opening

Thalapathy Vijay's final film Jana Nayagan earned Rs 41 crore net in India and Rs 78.27 crore worldwide on its opening day.

Directed by H. Vinoth, the film stars Vijay as Vetri Kondan, a former police officer training his adopted daughter to become a soldier.

The Tamil version contributed Rs 36.50 crore, the largest share of India net collections, while Telugu and Hindi versions added Rs 2.75 crore and Rs 1.75 crore respectively.

Tamil Nadu led with Rs 24 crore gross, followed by Karnataka (Rs 11.25 crore) and Kerala (Rs 5.52 crore).

Despite mixed reviews, Vijay's performance and Anirudh Ravichander's background score received praise, with the film expected to perform strongly over the weekend.
