Punjab-bound private double-decker bus overturns in UP, 3 killed

A private double-decker bus traveling from Bahraich, Uttar Pradesh to Punjab overturned in Sambhal district, killing 3 and injuring over 25.

The bus was carrying about 150 passengers, including migrant workers returning to Punjab after visiting hometowns.

Preliminary findings suggest the driver may have dozed off, causing the bus to hit the central divider and overturn at Chandausi tehsil.

Three victims were identified: Neha (17), Pintu (36), and Rishabh Singh (35), all from Uttar Pradesh.
