Delhi Police welds extra barricades with chains, steps up security for weekend protests

Delhi Police has installed additional layers of iron barricades at key locations, reinforced with heavy-duty chains and welding.

The security upgrade follows protests by Cockroach Janta Party demanding education reforms and resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak.

Facial recognition systems at protest venues have identified over 2,500 individuals with criminal backgrounds entering the area.

Anti-sabotage checks, vehicle inspections, and patrolling have been intensified at sensitive locations.
