Why Andrew and his brother Tristan Tate were arrested in Miami? What we know so far

Andrew and Tristan Tate were taken into federal custody in Miami on Saturday by the U.S. Marshals Service.

The warrant for their arrest remains under seal, and charges have not yet been disclosed.

The brothers are wanted by British authorities on allegations including rape and human trafficking, per a person familiar with the matter.

The Tates were previously arrested in Romania in 2022 on similar allegations, but the case was halted due to procedural deficiencies.

They hold both U.S. and British citizenship and have built a large online following promoting hypermasculinity.
