India coach breaks silence on whether Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are on talking terms: ‘They don’t need a bridge'

India batting coach Sitanshu Kotak dismissed rumours that Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir are not on talking terms.

Kotak said Kohli and Gambhir spoke multiple times and do not need a bridge between them.

Kotak addressed speculation after Kohli and Gambhir were not seen interacting during training before the ODI series opener against England in Edgbaston.

Kotak noted that his conversation with Kohli during nets was about batting mechanics, not about any rift.
