Sunny Deol says playing Lord Hanuman in Ramayana is ‘not easy’; promises to do justice to the role

Sunny Deol has just begun filming for the role of Lord Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana.

Deol described playing Hanuman as 'not easy' due to the balance of innocence, playfulness, devotion, and immense power.

He promised to portray the character with honesty and respect, acknowledging the emotional and spiritual connection people have with Lord Hanuman.

The Ramayana team will present the film at San Diego Comic-Con on July 23, making it the second Indian film after Kalki 2898 AD at the event.
