Sunny admits playing Hanuman in Ramayana was 'not easy'

Sunny Deol said playing Hanuman in Nitesh Tiwari's 'Ramayana' is a huge responsibility and 'not easy' at a Delhi event on July 18.

Deol noted he has only completed a small part of his work on the two-part epic, with a long road ahead.

He described Hanuman as embodying qualities like great power alongside humility, bravery with innocence, and force with devotion.

Deol expressed gratitude for the opportunity and vowed to give his best to portray the character right.

The first chapter of 'Ramayana' is set to release in 2026, with the concluding part in 2027; also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash.
