87th martyrdom day of Udham Singh; Mann unveils projects worth ₹107 cr in Sunam

Bhagwant Mann dedicated development projects worth over ₹107 crore in Sunam, including a trauma centre, medicines warehouse, and blood bank, and laid the foundation stone of the Sant Attar Singh Maharaj Armed Forces Preparatory Institute.
The ₹98.68-crore Sant Attar Singh Maharaj Armed Forces Preparatory Institute will be built at Cheema village on 13.42 acres to train youth from Punjab, especially Malwa, for armed forces careers.
The institute will have residential facilities for 500 cadets (250 boys, 250 girls) and include smart classrooms, a library, a 300-seat auditorium, and sports facilities like basketball courts, swimming pool, and gym.
The trauma centre in Sunam provides 24/7 emergency care with a 10-bed emergency and ICU to serve residents of Sunam and nearby areas.
The event marked the 87th martyrdom day of Udham Singh, with Mann paying tributes and emphasizing the AAP government's commitment to education, healthcare, and employment.
