Ex-wife claims ICE officer asked her to lie about his character

Ashley Brouillette, ex-wife of ICE officer David Brouillette, says he asked her to lie about his character and tell everyone he was a good person.

David Brouillette shot and killed Duran Guerrero, a Colombian man, in Maine; Ashley says David claimed the shooting was justified because Guerrero tried to run him over.

Ashley Brouillette stated that David Brouillette had serious mental health issues since childhood, including severe bipolar disorder and attention deficit disorder, and was physically violent toward her.

David Brouillette was initially rejected by military recruiters due to his mental health diagnoses but was encouraged to go off medications for a year and reapply, according to US military records.
